Cookie policy

1. This Cookie Policy, which extends the Privacy Policy, covers the use of cookies, pixel codes and other web technologies by the Service (hereinafter: the Service), and the processing of personal data by means of such technologies.

2. The Service is owned by: Emilia Kita conducting business under the name Emilia Kita, with its registered office in Wrocław, ul. Mieszczańska 8/20, 50-201 Wrocław, Poland, NIP: 8971893967, REGON: 389522620. The Service does not automatically collect any information except that contained in cookies.

3. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the end device of the Service user and intended for use of the Service websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website of origin, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number. Cookies may be read by our IT system (first-party cookies) or by third-party IT systems (third-party cookies). For optimal operation, the Service uses third-party cookies for analytical and statistical purposes.

4. On subsequent visits to the Service, the information stored in a cookie is sent back to the Service. This allows the Service to recognise the user and tailor content to their needs.

5. When using the Service, data about the user is collected automatically. This data may include:

• IP address,
• domain name,
• browser type,
• operating system type.

6. This data may be collected by cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Pixel and may be stored in server logs.

7. The entity placing cookies on the user’s end device and obtaining access to them is the operator of the Service naszekspert.pl.

8. Profiling applies in particular to users logged into an account.

9. The Service analyses access logs containing user IP information. This information is used in particular for administrative and statistical purposes. While browsing the Service, certain anonymous information may be collected passively (i.e. without the user actively providing it), using technologies such as cookies, web beacons or www signals (log records, server logs and clickstream data). The web browser automatically transmits some of this anonymous data to this website.

10. Cookies are used to:

• adapt the content of the Service pages to user preferences and optimise use of the website; in particular, they allow recognition of the user’s device and display of pages tailored to their needs (Service personalisation);
• create statistics that help understand how users use the Service, enabling improvement of structure and content;
• maintain the user’s session (after login), so that the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage;
• serve advertising purposes (including remarketing, retargeting), integration with social media and display of behavioural advertising via Google Ads; they may also be used to display ads outside the Service, e.g. on our advertising partners’ sites;
• monitor aggregated Service usage metrics, such as total number of visitors and page views.

11. The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s device until logout, leaving the website or closing the browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until deleted by the user.

12. The Service uses the following types of cookies:

• “essential” cookies enabling use of services within the Service, e.g. authentication cookies for services requiring authentication;
• cookies used to ensure security, e.g. to detect authentication abuse;
• “performance” cookies enabling collection of information on how the Service pages are used;
• “functional” cookies enabling “remembering” user-selected settings and personalisation of the interface (e.g. language, region, font size, page appearance);
• “advertising” cookies enabling delivery of ad content better suited to user interests.

13. When a user uses the Service, cookies enabling identification of their browser or device are used. Cookies collect various information which as a rule does not constitute personal data. Depending on content and use, some information may however be linked to an individual and thus constitute personal data. Certain cookies may therefore process the user’s personal data in some cases. Processing of personal data from cookies or similar technologies in our Service is carried out for the purpose of ensuring Service operation, adapting the Service to user preferences and for analytical purposes, on the basis of legitimate interest. The legal basis for processing for advertising or statistical purposes is always additional consent given by selecting the checkbox in the cookie consent process. The provisions of the Privacy Policy apply to information collected by cookies that may be linked to an identified person.

14. On first visit to the Service, the user is shown information about the use of cookies. The user may consent or not. If the user does not consent to the Service using cookies, only essential technical cookies necessary for the correct operation of the Service will be used. Cookies that are not technical will be loaded only after consent is given.

The user may at any time manage consent for selected cookies using the dedicated tool in the Service to choose which cookies are to be collected when using the Service (other than essential cookies required for the website to function). Please note that withholding, removing, blocking or limiting cookies may cause difficulties or prevent use of certain Service features.

16. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before withdrawal. Please note that disabling or limiting cookies may cause difficulties in using the Service.

17. We use analytics and similar services that include third-party cookies. When using the website, third-party cookies may be used to enable Service functionality and integrated sites, or to analyse advertising campaign effectiveness and collect anonymous information on Service use for statistical purposes. This Cookie Policy does not govern the use of third-party cookies.

18. In many cases, web browser software allows cookies to be stored on the user’s device by default. Service users may at any time change cookie settings, in particular to block automatic handling of cookies in the browser or to be notified each time a cookie is placed on their device. Details on managing cookies are available in the (browser) software settings. Leaving browser settings so that they do not block cookies is tantamount to consenting to their storage.

19. The browser may be set to warn the user when a cookie is sent or to block such files entirely; in the latter case, some Service features may not work. The Service operator therefore informs that limiting the use of cookies may affect some functionality available on the Service websites.

21. Cookies are placed on the Service user’s device and may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service operator.

22. Based on cookies, the Service also uses technology to deliver advertising to users who have previously visited the Service when they use other websites, via Google Ads.

23. The Service also uses Google Ads remarketing, which allows showing users ads based on their interests from other websites in the Google advertising network. For this purpose, Google stores cookies in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites on the Google Display Network, to uniquely identify the browser on a given device.

24. Server logs

• Use of the Service involves sending requests to the server on which the Service is hosted.
• Each request to the server is recorded in server logs. Logs include, among other things, the user’s IP address, server date and time, and information on the user’s browser and operating system.
• Logs are stored on the server.
• Data in server logs is not linked to specific users and is not used by the Administrator to identify users.
• Server logs are auxiliary material for administration only, and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorised to administer the server.

25. This Cookie Policy is for information only and is not a contract or set of terms. In all matters not covered by this Cookie Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Expert Terms and Conditions or the User Terms and Conditions shall apply. Changes will be made in the event of changes in applicable law or in the technological conditions of the Service.
